21 Actions for Women and Plants is a series of mini-dance videos made by 24 artists, from the living arts, who are confined at the time of the SARS COv-2 pandemic in the Baixada Santista region. The artists were invited to develop an action with a plant, and respond to one of Yoval Harari's "21 lessons for the 21st century", which is a 2018 publication and a worldwide bestseller, and presents questions emerging from the contemporary world. from a Eurocentric white-man perspective. What if it were possible to think (dance) these same questions from other points of view? Were other worlds possible? Based on the text: "A vegetal turn" by Emanuele Coccia, perspectives of inter-species authorship were created, divided between the participating artists and plants to produce a diverse and plural mosaic. The choreographies propose narratives about care, the body, the reproductive work imposed on women and possible actions to recover esthesia and charm, in such dark times.
